When we last left the bookcases, all the woodworking was done (except the crown molding) and it was ready for priming and painting. Well, here’s a picture of the primed bookcases (shelves were primed in the basement):

Here is the bookcase with the shelves added and with everything painted. It’s hard to tell, but the shelves are all adjustable with pins, we’ve just installed them so they’re all lined up. Now we just need to pick some crown molding for the top and add it (and prime and paint it).
Laura is still deciding whether or not we want to add the doors that were originally planned to cover the lower section of the three center cases. We’ll keep you posted (and I’ll add another picture once we get the books out of boxes and onto those shelves).
